An empty room rarely sells a property. At Home Media provides professional virtual staging for real estate listings across Westchester County and Greenwich, Connecticut, giving buyers the context they need to picture themselves in the space, without the cost or logistics of physical furniture.
Why It Matters
Most buyers struggle to read an empty room. Without furniture, scale is hard to judge, flow is difficult to follow, and the emotional connection that drives a decision to book a showing simply does not happen. Virtual staging for real estate solves that problem at a fraction of the cost of physical staging.
According to the National Association of Realtors, staged homes sell faster and generate more buyer interest than unstaged listings. Virtual staging delivers those results without the coordination, rental fees, or scheduling constraints of moving furniture into a property.
Our Approach
Virtual staging is only as good as the photography it starts from. At Home Media handles both (the original shoot and the staging), so the finished images are built on a solid foundation. There is no handing off a flat or poorly lit photo to a staging service and hoping it comes back looking credible.
Every room is staged with care for the property type, the price point, and the likely buyer. A downtown White Plains condo gets a different treatment from a four-bedroom colonial in Scarsdale or a waterfront property in Mamaroneck, because the buyer browsing each listing has a different eye.
Staging options include modern, contemporary, Scandinavian, traditional, and transitional styles, among others. The right choice depends on the property and how it is being marketed. If you are not sure which style fits the listing, that is a conversation worth having before the images go live.
For vacant properties, rooms are furnished digitally from scratch. For occupied listings with dated or cluttered furniture, virtual staging can replace or supplement what is already there, giving the listing a cleaner, more considered look without asking the seller to move anything out.
The technology behind virtual real estate staging has improved significantly. Used well, AI virtual staging produces results that are convincing and proportionally accurate, with rooms that read as real spaces rather than obvious digital renders. The difference lies in the quality of the source photography and the care taken in staging.
What’s Included
Finished files are delivered at full resolution, ready for the MLS, listing portals, and any other marketing channel the listing will appear on.
Choose from a range of furniture styles to suit the property and the target buyer. Where a listing benefits from seeing more than one option, alternatives can be discussed at the time of booking.
Virtual staging is available for both empty rooms and occupied spaces where existing furnishings need to be updated or removed for the listing photos.
Once you have chosen the photo to stage, finished images are usually delivered within 24 hours, so the listing can go live on schedule. If the timeline is tight, mention it at the time of booking.
Pricing
Pricing depends on the number of rooms, the type of staging required, and whether virtual staging is booked alongside real estate photography. Bundling both services in a single visit typically delivers better overall value.
Every quote is straightforward and specific to the listing. Get in touch to discuss the scope.
The Process
Get in touch to schedule. Virtual staging can be booked alongside photography or as a standalone service for properties that have already been photographed.
If photography is included, Anthony shoots the property with the staging brief already in mind, including angles, room coverage, and lighting, all of which are considered in relation to the finished staged images as the goal.
Furniture and finishing touches are applied digitally to the selected rooms. Each image is reviewed for proportional accuracy and visual credibility before delivery.
Once you have selected the photo to stage, final files are usually delivered within 24 hours, ready for the MLS and your other marketing channels. If the listing also includes floor plans, both sets of files are coordinated to arrive together.

FAQ
When the source photography is well-lit and properly composed, and the staging is applied with care for proportion and scale, the results read as convincing furnished rooms. The quality of the original photos makes the biggest difference, which is why combining photography and staging in the same booking tends to produce the best outcome.
Once you have chosen which photo to stage, finished images are usually delivered within 24 hours. If a listing has a fixed go-live date or open house, mention it at booking and Anthony will work to it.
Yes. For occupied properties where existing furnishings are dated, mismatched, or simply not doing the listing any favors, virtual staging can replace or work around what is already there. The approach depends on the room and the extent of the changes needed.
Virtual staging is available for residential and investment properties across Westchester County and Greenwich, from downtown condos and starter homes to larger colonials, new construction, and estate properties. Each listing is treated according to its price point and likely buyer.
For vacant properties, no staging preparation is needed on your end. The digital furnishing is applied in post. For occupied properties that are partially re-staged, it helps to clean surfaces and remove any items that should not appear in the final images. A preparation checklist accompanies every booking confirmation.
